Video of how to assemble flat-bottom Super Flangeless™ fittings

The IDEX Super Flangeless™ Fittings are unmatched in sealing performance and pressure tolerance for flat-bottom ports. The construction is based on a biocompatible ferrule that seals the liquid path, together with a lock ring that holds the ferrule in place and ensures a leak-free and sturdy connection when the nut is tightened. This unique design holds tight even through vibrations and allows tightening of the nut without twisting the tubing.

The video features the P-331 nut and P-359 ferrule, but the same principle is applicable to all Super Flangeless™ fittings.

1. Slide the nut, steel compression ring and ferrule, in that order, onto the tubing. The flattened end of the ring should face towards the nut with the narrow end of the ferrule towards the ring.
2. Insert into the internal port. Hold the tubing to the bottom of the fitting while tightening down the nut. Tighten comfortably finger-tight.
