What is XP- fittings?

XP- fittings are bundle items containing both a nut and a matching ferrule for making connections into flat-bottom ports. The designation XP- fittings simply comes from their product numbers containing a leading “XP-“, followed by a three-digit number. These items from IDEX Health & Science makes it convenient to order a complete fitting for the Flangeless™ and Super Flangeless™ fitting systems, however, it may complicate obtaining separate items for maintenance and service of flat-bottom fitting assemblies.

Cross-reference list with included nuts and ferrules

To facilitate ordering the individual components of these bundle items, Biotech Fluidics has composed a comprehensive cross-reference list of all nuts and ferrules that the XP- items contain. This record also facilitates ordering of components for obsolete XP- product numbers where the separate components still are available from Biotech Fluidics. In the few cases where the original nut for the XP- item is no longer available, suitable replacement items are suggested.
