Major innovation in fluidic degassing
Biotech Fluidics has announced a major innovation in fluidic degassing with the launch of their high performance DEGASi® FlatFilm inline degasser. Utilizing a specialized flat film degassing membrane to remove dissolved gases, rather than the traditional tubular format, the system provides superior degassing efficiency and improved compatibility with viscous fluids and almost any organic solvent.
Biocompatible and chemically resistant
Featuring a chemically inert metal-free flow path, the DEGASi® FlatFilm degasser are not only biocompatible but are also more sustainable as their PFAS content is reduced to one tenth of standard tubular degassers. The increased degassing efficiency of DEGASi® FlatFilm degasser enables the use of a higher vacuum set point for degassing of volatile solvents, while minimizing evaporation of mobile phase into the laboratory atmosphere.
Available as a stand-alone unit, or as OEM components, the extremely low flow restriction offered by DEGASi® FlatFilm degasser enables the use of up to five chambers in series to cover higher flow rates in HPLC and process applications without loss of degassing efficiency.

The DEGASi® FlatFilm degassers units use the latest DEGASi® Vacuum Control unit incorporating fifth generation StabiliX™ pumps that deliver extraordinary stable vacuum and lower acoustic profile, all combined in a compact housing with an unmatched trouble-free long operational lifetime.
