The innovative IDEX Intuitive™ Torque-Limiting Fittings provide convenient haptic click-feedback when sufficient tightening has been achieved. This prevents overtightening which otherwise could cause leakage, thus being perfect for locations where fluidic components are exchanged frequently, such as flash columns, inline filters, and eluent bottles. Biotech Fluidics recommends using ferrules from the Super Flangeless™ system for highest sealing capability and to maximise the ability to repeatedly reseal connections with the Intuitive™ fittings in flat-bottom ports.

The video features the LP-100 Intuitive™ nut for 1/16” OD tubing combined with the P-259 ferrule, but the same principle is applicable also to the LP-200 Intuitive™ nut for 1/8” OD tubing in combination with a Super Flangeless™ ferrule, for example the P-359 ferrule.
