Automatic mechanical pressure regulators for your fluidic system

Keeping a stable pressure within a fluidic system can bring several advantages in terms of robustness. An even pressure can for example reduce pulsations from pumps and keep conditions for reactions and chemical equilibria at constant states, thereby reducing uncertainties and variations in performance. Preventing sudden pressure drops throughout the flow path can also reduce the tendency of bubble formation if there are dissolved gases in the liquids, and when configured in a three-way connector, a pressure regulator can also protect sensitive components from overpressure in case of blocked or restricted fluid paths.

Biotech Fluidics provides a range of convenient Back Pressure Regulator (BPR) Assemblies that are designed to tackle exactly these situations. With a wide selection of BPR Cartridges tuned to different opening pressures, which fits into BPR Holders of different materials, this modular construction forms a wide range of BPR Assemblies for a variety of different flow system designs and requirements. Most BRP Cartridges (40 to 1000 psi) can easily be exchanged by the user, whereas the cartridges with lowest pressure settings (5 & 20 psi) are not replaceable.
