Katarina Alenäs, MSc

Katarina Alenäs is currently Senior Vice President Chromatography at Nanologica AB which is a Swedish biotech company focused on nanoporous silica. She holds a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Lunds Tekniska Högskola and B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Greenwich University and has a long experience within the life science area in general and chromatography in particular. Katarina has previously held several commercial management roles at Agilent Technologies and worked with Shimadzu within chromatography. She started her career as a Development engineer for Kromasil’s silica-based packing media for preparative chromatography 25 years ago.

Einar Pontén, PhD

Einar Pontén got his doctoral degree in analytical chemistry at Umeå University in 1996. He was CEO of the biopharmaceutical company Lipum AB, listed on Nasdaq First North, from 2017 to 2023. Previously, he was CEO and co-founder of the pioneering chromatography company SeQuant AB for 10 years, until it was acquired by Merck KGaA (Darmstadt) in 2008. Thereafter was he CEO of the subsidiary Merck SeQuant AB until 2011. He started his career in 1984 as an Analytical Chemist at Astra Draco AB in Lund. Currently he is also chairman of Ventri Labs AB.

COB Anders Grahn

Anders Grahn has a B.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University 1991. He started working at ChromTech AB with development and synthesis of chiral stationary phases, as well as sorbents enabling direct injection of plasma and serum into chromatographic systems. Development of separation methods in the field of liquid chromatography was a major part of his work. For many years he gave lectures and advanced courses in chromatography for people within the life science field. During 2007 he moved to the Swedish west coast and together with Ralf Jutvik he founded Biotech Fluidics AB, where he had the CEO position until he handed it over to Fritiof Pontén in November 2020. Since 2007 the company has become a global player in the field of fluidic components. Anders is currently working with business- and product development beside his position as Chairman of the Board.

Ted Jutvik

Ted Jutvik is the son of Ralf Jutvik, founder of Biotech Fluidics AB, and Ted has been a board member in the company since the foundation back in 2007. Together with family members he represents the major shareholders of Biotech Fluidics. He has extensive experience and practical knowledge from working in family owned businesses founded by his father the serial entrepreneur Ralf Jutvik, for example Jour Research AB. Ted finds great pleasure in continuing his father’s work, in the same spirit that Ralf once established, with the dedicated staff at this magnificent location on the Onsala peninsula.
