The DEGASi® NG family of stand-alone inline degassers ensure efficient removal of dissolved gases in flowing liquids under a wide variety of conditions. Regardless of whether you require a flow path with full biocompatibility, or durable to withstand the most aggressive organic solvents, there is always a DEGASi® NG model that suits your needs for an efficient and robust degasification process. The entire platform have recently gone through an extensive internal technology upgrade further extending lifetime and reliability. Comprising many models designed for different applications, covering flow rates from a few microliters per minute up to one litre per minute, the DEGASi® NG family is by far the most modern and complete product range of degassers in the world.

Degasser designs

The DEGASi® NG family of stand-alone inline degassers are available in a couple of core designs with different capabilities and features. The core designs are then configured with degassing channels for different solvents and flow rate ranges. All degassers from Biotech Fluidics are equipped with the most modern long-lifetime vacuum pump technology with closed-loop vacuum control plus advanced leak and error detection functions plus a standardized electronic error output, to provide ultra-stable and communicative performance in every degassing situation.

DEGASi® NG Analytical series
The newly updated global standard for slim and silent stand-alone vacuum degassers with flexible design. Can be configured with 1-6 channels, and up to 8 channels in the new extended housing.

DEGASi® NG Preparative series
Outstandingly powerful models to accomplish degassing of aqueous-organic liquids at high liquid flow rates. Can be configured with 1, 2, or 4 channels depending on model.

DEGASi® FlatFilm NG
The most modern inline degasser design with exceptional capabilities for analytical and semi-preparative flow rates of most liquids. Can be configured with 1-6 channels, and up to 8 channels in the new extended housing.

DEGASi® Vacuum Controller
Components to create controlled vacuum within almost any inline degasser. Includes the latest pump technology and controller algorithms with setpoints tuned to your requirements.

DEGASi® Integration series
Unique output allows your system control software to continuously monitor the degasser vacuum level and log it with your other process parameters. Can be configured with 1-5 channels.

DEGASi® BioCompact
The smallest stand-alone inline vacuum degasser with a fixed metal-free flow path. Can be configured with 1-6 channels.

Models for different solvents and flow rate ranges

The DEGASi® core designs are configured with one or several degassing channels for a particular solvent type and flow rate range, thereby creating complete degassers of various models for specific requirements. For easy navigation, these channels have been grouped into four categories, differentiated by their flow rate ranges.

For typical analytical systems

DEGASi® Analytic NG
The first choice for modern applications in analytical instrumentation and liquid chromatography, including typical reversed phase and ion chromatography applications with flow rates up to 2 mL/min. Biocompatible flow path of 285 μL that is compatible with hexane.

DEGASi® Classic NG
A great choice for classical applications in analytical instrumentation and liquid chromatography, including typical reversed phase and ion chromatography applications with flow rates up to 3 mL/min. Biocompatible flow path of 480 μL. Not for use with hexane.

DEGASi® GPC NG
Designed for straight phase chromatography applications with flow rates up to 3 mL/min. With the stainless-steel stented flow path of 480 μL this degasser is intended for use with all common organic solvents including alkanes like hexane.

For systems with higher flow rates

DEGASi® Semi-Prep NG
Designed for reversed phase and ion chromatography applications at flow rates in the range 3-6 mL/min. Biocompatible flow path of 925 μL. Not for use with hexane.

DEGASi® GPC Semi-Prep NG
Designed for straight phase chromatography applications with flow rates 3-6 mL/min. With the stainless-steel stented flow path of 925 μL this degasser is intended for use with all common organic solvents including alkanes like hexane.

DEGASi® LifeSci NG
A PFAS-free degasser for life science applications processing water and aqueous buffers up to 20 mL/min. This degasser is based on a silicone membrane and should not be used with more than 5% alcohol. The internal volume is 2 mL.

For low volume degassing

DEGASi® Micro NG
Optimised for low flow rates of aqueous and organic liquids up to 0.5 mL/min. Biocompatible flow path of 100 μL. Not for use with hexane.

DEGASi® Nano NG
Optimised for nano flow rates of aqueous and organic liquids up to 0.1 mL/min. Biocompatible flow path of 25 μL. Not for use with hexane.

DEGASi® UltraNano NG
Optimised for ultra-low flow rates of aqueous and organic liquids up to 25 μL/min. Biocompatible flow path of only 6 μL. Not for use with hexane.

For degassing of the highest flow rates

DEGASi® Prep NG
Powerful degasser for aqueous and organic liquids. Suitable for flow rates up to 15 mL/min/channel with an internal volume of 5.4 mL. Suitable for use with organic solvents including hexane.

DEGASi® Prep+ NG
Very powerful degasser for aqueous and organic liquids. Built for flow rates up to 75 mL/min/channel with an internal volume of 22 mL. Suitable for use with organic solvents including hexane.

DEGASi® Prep+ Large NG
The most powerful degasser for aqueous and organic liquids. Built for flow rates up to 100 mL/min/channel with an internal volume of 22 mL. Suitable for use with organic solvents including hexane. Configured for 3/16″ OD tubing.

DEGASi® Prep+ XLarge NG
The most powerful degasser for aqueous and organic liquids. Built for flow rates up to 100 mL/min/channel with an internal volume of 22 mL. Suitable for use with organic solvents including hexane. Configured for 1/4″ OD tubing.

DEGASi® Prep+ AUX NG
Degasser with identical properties to the other DEGASi® Prep+ units, but comes equipped with an additional channel from the DEGASi® Plus series for degassing of a parallel auxiliary liquid flow in the analytical range.

DEGASi® HighFlow 1000 NG
The most powerful degasser for water and aqueous buffers up to 1000 mL/min. This degasser is based on a silicone membrane and should not be used with more than 5% alcohol. The internal volume is 200 mL.
