The new DEGASi® FlatFilm degasser redefines the capabilities of inline degassers. This engineering marvel delivers double the degassing performance per unit volume, at ten times lower flow resistance, while also reducing evaporative solvent loss, relative to traditional tubular degasser designs. In addition, this new inline degasser provides an extremely silent operation with about thirty percent longer life expectancy compared to traditional constructions. It also offers a reduced environmental footprint by requiring only one tenth the amount of perfluoroalkylated (PFAS) polymers within the degassing membrane.
The DEGASi® FlatFilm stand-alone inline degasser is suitable for a wide range of analytical and semi-preparative applications involving anything from biocompatible requirements to demanding organic solvent compatibility including hexane. The slim housing, recognized from the popular DEGASi® Plus series, occupies a small bench space (230 x 56 x 107 mm). The nominal flow rate is 6 mL/min per channel, and this degasser is available with 1-6 degassing channels each with a flow path of 500 µL. The port design is 1/4-28 Flat-Bottom for connection of tubing with OD ranging from 1/16” to 1/8”.
