Unions and adaptors to join any tubing

Biotech Fluidics provides a comprehensive product program of adapters and unions to join tubing of different sizes at various pressure tolerances. Our different union designs are constructed for tubing OD ranging from 360 µm up to 5/16” (7.9 mm) and we have male and female adaptors for many different port designs, including coned 6-32 and 10-32 UNC, flat-bottom 1/4-28 UNF and M6, luer and luer-lock, as well as some barbed tubing connections. All fittings and connectors supplied by Biotech Fluidics come with consistent high quality and often with speedy delivery from our extensive stock.

Connector categories

HPLC & UHPLC connectors

Unions, tees, crosses, and manifolds, in stainless-steel and PEEK, with 10-32 coned port designs, for 1/16” OD tubing or capillary dimensions by using tubing sleeves. These connectors are all designed for high pressure and low or zero dead volume, to fit to HPLC & UHPLC system assemblies and preserve peak shapes during separations.

MicroTight® connectors

Full range of connectors for joining tubing with OD 360 µm, 1/32”, or different capillary dimensions. Unions, tees, and crosses, for 6-32 & M4 internal threaded coned port, and 5/16-24 external threaded coned port, in the MicroTight® series of fittings. Also includes adapters to 1/16” OD tubing and 10-32 coned ports.

Threaded unions & adapters

Comprehensive range of unions and adapters for most English and Metric threaded coned and flat-bottom ports, plus NPT national pipe threads. Includes unions and adapters for 10-32, M6, & 1/4-28 ports, and various connectors for large bore tubing into 5/16-24 & 1/2-20 ports.

Tees, crosses & manifolds

Tees, Y-connectors, crosses, & manifolds with up to 9 ports. All equipped with 1/4-28 or 5/16-24 flat-bottom ports for 1/16” to 3/16” OD tubing sizes. These connectors are manufactured from PEEK or ETFE, and are suitable for low and limited pressures up to 500 or 1,000 psi (34 or 69 bar).

Luer adapters

Luer connections is a fast and easy way to join and quickly disconnect tubing in low pressure applications. The IDEX Quick Connect luer adapters joins threaded fittings and luer type fittings, whereas the unique LuerTight™ fitting system provide luer connection abilities directly to fluoropolymer tubing with 1/16” or 1/8” outer diameter.

Barbed connectors

Peristaltic tubing and similar soft-walled flexible tubing, such as Tygon® or PharMed®, are easily joined with barbed connectors. Our comprehensive range of barbed connectors comprise barb-to-barb, thread-to-bard, luer-to-barb, swivel barb, & conical adapters for a wide range of tubing inner diameters, plus dedicated peristaltic tubing stop adapters.
