DEGASi^® Prep+

Very powerful and flexible degasser

DEGASi^® Prep+ is a very powerful and flexible degasser for aqueous and organic liquids and perfect for preparative HPLC and related applications. It can be configured with 1, 2, or 4 channels, where each channel has an internal volume of 22 mL, and can degas liquids at flow rates up to 75-100 mL/min/channel. In order to only occupy a limited bench space and making it easy to access for replacement of parts, the size of the sturdy metal housing varies with the model and the number of channels. The degasser is compatible with aqueous-organic liquids and with organic solvents including hexane.

As with all DEGASi^® Preparative series degassers, you can expect very silent and trouble-free operation for many years. The internal patented closed-loop vacuum control assures ultra-stable degassing performance that minimize noise in your high-throughput system. Each degasser comes with advanced leak and error detection functions and a bicolour indicator LED to show current status. The degasser is fully compatible with CE and RoHS directives.

The standard configuration of this degasser is designed for 1/8” (3.2 mm) OD tubing and will efficiently degas liquids at flow rates up to 75 mL/min/channel. For even higher degassing performance, we recommend the DEGASi^® Prep+ Large and DEGASi^® Prep+ XLarge, which are configured for 3/16″ (4.8 mm) and 1/4″ (6.4 mm) OD tubing, respectively, and can accommodate flow rates up to 100 mL/min/channel. Except for the tubing connections, these two models contain identical components to DEGASi^® Prep+.

An additional model in this family of degassers is the customizable DEGASi^® Prep+ AUX degasser which is configured with an additional auxiliary analytical channel of your selection. The DEGASi^® Prep+ AUX model is available with 1, 2, or 4 preparative channels which can handle flow rates up to 75-100 mL/min/channel.
