Traditional fittings for HPLC and UHPLC systems
The IDEX 316 Stainless Steel fittings are typically used in traditional HPLC and UHPLC analytical systems. They are pressure rated to 20,000 psi (1,380 bar) when wrench tightened and comes in several designs. The IDEX standard construction is available for 10-32, 1/4-28, or M6x1 coned port designs. The Common Valve fittings type is for traditional Rheodyne brand valves with 10-32 and 5/16-24 coned ports for 1/16” or 1/8” OD tubing, respectively. We also supply other manufacturer-compatible fitting for connecting 1/16” OD tubing to 10-32 ports.
Note that metal fittings should not be used in plastic ports, as this can damage the port. The recommended torque to tighten these fittings is 20 in-lbs (2.25 N·m).
