Two-Piece Fingertight fittings
Economic polymeric fittings for coned ports
The two-piece polymeric fingertight fittings have separate exchangeable ferrules in different materials for different circumstances. This makes this an economical alternative for connection of 360 µm, 1/32”, or 1/16” OD tubing to 10-32 coned ports. Use a standard knurled head fitting for traditional fingertight applications or use a fitting with wings built into the head for extra tightening leverage. The two-piece fingertight fittings are pressure rated up to 6,000 psi (414 bar).
The M-215 Conductive Perfluoroelastomer Ferrule is designed for mass spectrometer electrospray applications. Unlike most graphite ferrules, the elastomeric properties of this ferrule let you use it through many tightening/retightening cycles. It also eliminates any possibility of graphite contamination in your system. Like graphite ferrules, you can apply voltage through a metallic port block or metallic nut, allowing voltage to translate to the flow path through the ferrule.
- Designed to connect tubing to 10-32 coned ports
- Ferrules available for directly connecting 1/16”, 1/32”, or 360 µm OD tubing
- Economical, replace only the ferrule
