The new DEGASi® LifeSci NG inline vacuum degasser is designed for full biocompatibility and reduced environmental impact. It was invented to efficiently remove dissolved gases from aqueous fluids before they outgas and form bubbles that impact precision dispensing or interfering with detection.
By employing a silicone-type tubular membrane, this chamber quickly accomplishes highly efficient degassing of aqueous solutions in a construction totally free from metals and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), which are often encountered in the type of degassers that are designed for organic solvents. Its silicon-based biocompatible flow path is designed for life science applications such as benchtop clinical chemistry, immunoassays, flow cytometry, next-generation sequencing (NGS), spatial biology, and proteomics. This new degasser is thus highly suitable for environmental, food, healthcare, and biotechnology labs.
The DEGASi® LifeSci NG stand-alone inline degasser is suitable for a wide range of life science applications demanding full biocompatibility and it complies with RoHS and REACH requirements. Its capacity is suitable for flow rates from 3 to 20 mL/min per channel, and this degasser is available with 1-3 degassing channels. The port design is 1/4-28 Flat-Bottom for connection of tubing with OD ranging from 1/16” to 1/8”. This degasser is exclusively intended for neutral aqueous solutions and not compatible with organic solvents in higher concentrations, nor with pH conditions away from the neutral realm.
