NO TROUBLES WITH BUBBLES®
DEGASi® Plus series
Popular slim and silent stand-alone degassers
The DEGASi® Plus series sets a new global standard for slim and silent stand-alone vacuum degassers with flexible design. Degasser models in this series are often the first choice in analytical instrumentation and liquid chromatography, including typical reversed phase HPLC and ion chromatography applications in a wide flow rate range. Additional models are available for organic solvent applications, for example straight phase chromatography, and gel-permeation chromatography (GPC).

Description
Models in the DEGASi® Plus series can be configured with 1-6 channels for a wide variety of applications requiring degasification of aqueous and organic liquids at flow rates ranging from a few µL/min up to 6 mL/min. For higher flow rate requirements consider the DEGASi® Prep series.
The DEGASi® Plus Classic and DEGASi® Plus Semi-Prep degassers are designed for typical HPLC reversed phase and ion chromatography applications. For straight phase chromatography, gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), and other situations handling organic solvents, the DEGASi® Plus GPC or DEGASi® Plus GPC Semi-Prep models are required. When compatibility with hexafluoro isopropanol or continuous vacuum level monitoring is required, the DEGASi® Integration series would instead be more suitable. For low to ultra-low volume applications in the microliter per minute range, the DEGASi® Plus Micro, DEGASi® Plus Nano, and DEGASi® Plus UltraNano are available.
All DEGASi® Plus series degassers remove dissolved gases by continuous inline degassing using a constant vacuum applied over a Systec™ AF membrane that is permeable to gases but not liquids. The removal of dissolved gases from liquid chromatography mobile phases reduces retention time shifts and improves baseline stability, while also reducing the level of oxygen which otherwise can interfere with detection techniques such as UV absorption and fluorescence. All problems with bubbles are typically eliminated when 50% of the dissolves gases are removed, which often can be critical in analytical systems as well as dispensing applications.
The DEGASi® Plus series is based on all the features and experience from the legacy DEGASi® degassers but offers a smaller footprint and more consistent vacuum level that results in a very silent operation.
