Designed to Bridge between Rigid-Walled Tubing and Soft-Walled Tubing. Supplied in 2-pack. For use with 2.55-3.80 mm ID Peristaltic Tubing with an OD up to 6.4 mm. Our Peristaltic Tubing Adapter Sets facilitate a secure connection between soft-walled, peristaltic tubing and more traditional, rigid-walled tubing. Through the use of a ribbed nose that fits securely inside the soft-walled tubing and a retainer sleeve that slips over the soft-walled tubing, this adapter firmly holds peristaltic tubing in place, while simultaneously allowing more permanent 1/16" OD tubing (e.g., FEP, PEEK, Stainless Steel) to be joined on the other end through the use of the Flangeless Fittings (included). These 2-pack sets allows you to make your own stoppered tubing assembly for use with some peristaltic pumps, while also minimizing the amount of soft-walled tubing that must be used in the fluid pathway. Our MicroTight Unions Assembly is used specifically to easily connect capillary tubing together. True ZDV (Zero Dead Volume) allows two pieces of tubing to connect directly to each other using the included gauge and plug to ensure proper alignment. This allows for an uninterrupted fluidic path. Our Shut-Off Valve Assembly is designed to quickly stops the flow of a stream. The body of the assembly is made from solvent resistant Tefzel (ETFE) and features a PCTFE rotor making it highly resistant to chemical attack. It includes (2)OD x P-335 1/16" Flangeless Fittings. It comes in blue.
