DEGASi® Integration series
Degassers for monitoring and system integration
The DEGASi® Integration series of stand-alone degassers provides excellent degasification properties while also allowing full integration of vacuum level monitoring into your system software. Degasser models in this series are designed for analytical instrumentation and liquid chromatography, including typical reversed phase HPLC and ion chromatography applications in a wide flow rate range. Additional models are available for organic solvent applications, for example straight phase chromatography, gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), and size-exclusion chromatography (SEC), including those requiring hexafluoro isopropanol (HFIP) solvent.

Description
Models in the DEGASi® Integration series are all equipped with an easily accessible connector at the rear panel, which delivers an output voltage of 200 mV when the vacuum setpoint is held and degassing is ongoing as expected. These degassers can be configured with 1-5 channels for a wide variety of applications requiring degasification of aqueous and organic liquids at flow rates ranging from a few µL/min up to 6 mL/min. For higher flow rate requirements consider the DEGASi® Prep series.
The DEGASi® Integration Classic and DEGASi® Integration Semi-Prep degassers are designed for typical HPLC reversed phase and ion chromatography applications. For straight phase chromatography, gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), and other situations handling organic solvents, the DEGASi® Integration GPC or DEGASi® Integration GPC Semi-Prep models are required. Two unique members of this degasser series are the DEGASi® Integration HFIP and DEGASi® Integration HFIP Semi-Prep which are designed for use with the very demanding organic solvent hexafluoro isopropanol often employed in size-exclusion chromatography (SEC).
For low to ultra-low volume applications in the microliter per minute range, the DEGASi® Integration Micro, DEGASi® Integration Nano, and DEGASi® Integration UltraNano are available.
All DEGASi® Integration series degassers remove dissolved gases by continuous inline degassing using a constant vacuum applied over a Systec™ AF membrane that is permeable to gases but not liquids. The removal of dissolved gases from liquid chromatography mobile phases reduces retention time shifts and improves baseline stability, while also reducing the level of oxygen which otherwise can interfere with detection techniques such as UV absorption and fluorescence. All problems with bubbles are typically eliminated when 50% of the dissolves gases are removed, which often can be critical in analytical systems as well as dispensing applications.
The DEGASi® Integration series is based on all the features and experience from the legacy DEGASi® degassers but offers more consistent vacuum level that results in a very silent operation, plus the unique feature of continuously monitoring the vacuum level within the degasser.
